Bangers and Mash

This is a very simple recipe. It does produce a very nicely flavored entree though.

I used a spicy pork sausage. I liked the little bit of spice that was added. It gave the dish a little depth.

I do not recommend boiling the potatoes with the skins on. And whole.

This makes the potatoes so much harder to peel and dice. I have several recipes that call for this method. I just don’t care for it.

I mashed the potatoes with the seasoning and butter before adding the milk.

I added all the milk and thought I had definitely made a mistake. The potatoes were super soupy.

Thankfully, it was not a mistake. The extra liquid evaporates or blends in while baking.

The end result was a light and fluffy potato.

It looks a little strange, but it does taste good!
