Bland and Boring

I should have known going into this recipe that it was going to be underwhelming.

Really, there are so few ingredients. And no seasoning!

Starting with the seasoning - it needed some. Or, well, it needed a lot. Salt and pepper would have been a starting point.

The molasses and butter mixture did not add a lot of flavor, if any.

The molasses did give the dish a little crust on top. It just wasn’t great.

The dish was overall very boring and somewhat tasteless.

GEORGIAN SWEET POTATOES

3 Cups Mashed Sweet Potatoes

2 Tablespoons Molasses

1 Tablespoon Butter

Place sweet potatoes in a buttered casserole. Heat the molasses and butter together slowly until the butter is melted. Pour over the sweet potatoes. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
