Creamy Sugary Honey

I used this topping for a coiled bread I was making. But I imagine there are a ton of uses for it.

Creaming the butter and warm honey together gives the base of the topping a very creamy feel.

The sugar obviously adds the sweetness. It also gives the topping a bit of an icing feel.

The egg white I believe acts as a binder, and gives the topping a little thickness.

Using it on the bread, the topping soaked into the bread during the cooking process.

I think this topping would be amazing spread on a cake and make toasted or broiled a bit.

It has great flavor and a wonderful creaminess.
HONEY TOPPING
1/4 Cup Butter
2/3 Cup Confectioners’ Sugar
1 Egg White
2 Tablespoons Warm Honey
Cream all ingredients together until smooth and fluffy.
