Easy To Drink, and Drink . . .

I served this punch during my dinner party. I have a lovely Mid Century punch bowl that I am always looking for reasons to use. I mean, who serves punch anymore? Hardly anyone really, and that is a shame!

The corn syrup mixes well with the apple juice and gives you a very sweet base. I picked a rose prosecco because I didn’t want a wine that would make the punch too sweet. I also thought the addition of the bubbles would be nice.

I was not wrong. The dryness of the prosecco blends well with the sweet apple juice.

The punch is very easy to drink. Which is a bit of a problem, because you drink a little more than you maybe should. But I wasn’t driving anywhere, so it worked!

The apples absorb the alcohol, so you get a nice boozy apple treat when your glass is empty.

Really a delicious punch!

ROSE PUNCH

1 Cup Light Corn Syrup

1 Bottle Chilled Apple Juice

3 Bottles Rose Wine, Chilled

1 Small Red Apple, Thinly Sliced

Combine corn syrup and apple juice in a punch bowl. Stir in wine. Garnish with apple slices.
