Fall Apart Burgers

This was the second burger recipe I used for our barbecue. These were not as successful. . .

The flavor was nice at least. They were well seasoned with the salt, pepper and Worcestershire. The onion give them a little extra flavor. I love a grilled onion.

The burgers just didn’t hold together. There was no binder at all.

These would have been so much better with some oats, or bread crumbs, or even an egg.

I could tell almost immediately that they were not going to stay together. As they sat on the plate waiting for the grill to heat up they had already begun to separate.

So, when we put them on the grill, it happened. Pieces started falling off into the coals.

Maybe these would have worked better cooking them on a griddle. . .
PARTY BURGERS
1 Pound Hamburger
1/4 Cup Chopped Onion
1/4 Cup Water
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
Mix together all ingredients and form into patties. Sauté in a skillet for 3 minutes per side.
