Fresh Tart Lime

A classic cocktail that is super easy to make.

I never really drank gin before I started this recipe journey. I am more of a vodka girl to be honest.

My husband is a fan of gin, and of martinis.

We had a bit of a chaotic day, so needed a cocktail to wind down.

This was perfect! It isn’t complicated - just three ingredients really.

The flavor is light and bright. The gin really goes well with the lime juice.

So yes, it is simple, but it certainly is delicious.

GIMLET

3/4 Cup Crushed Ice

1 Tablespoon Simple Sugar Syrup

2 Large Jiggers Lime Juice

5 Jiggers Gin

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake to blend. Strain into chilled glasses or over ice.
