Interesting Asian Flavor

This was a super simple and easy dish to make.

The bacon is lovely, salty, and perfectly crisp.

The bell pepper, onion and celery were lovely. Admittedly, I did not have celery. I thought I had celery, but apparently not.

I opted to use raw shrimp and cook it with the sauce. It just sounded like a better idea than using precooked shrimp.

I purchased store bought shrimp, shelled it and deveined it. Fresh shrimp cooks very quickly, it only took about four minutes.

I served the dish with soba noodles. I think this was the perfect accompaniment.

I was really surprised at how good this dish was. We didn’t have any leftovers, so I think my husband and daughter liked it as well.
