What a lovely bite sized snack!

Pillsbury introduced the pre-packaged crescent rolls in 1965. When I initially saw this recipe I didn’t know that. I thought they came along much later.

The filling for these rolls is great. It is creamy and bacony!

The parmesan on top adds the perfect bit of crunch!

The crescent rolls are soft and delicious. You get a lovely bite of bacon, cream cheese and crescent roll!

I served these on football Sunday. They were the perfect bite sized snack. Really yummy!



QUICK ‘N CHEESY COCKTAIL SWIRLS

3 Ounces Cream Cheese, Softened

1 Tablespoon Milk

5 Strips Bacon, Fried and Crumbled

2 Tablespoons Finely Chopped Onion

1 Can Refrigerator Crescent Rolls

Parmesan Cheese


Combine cream cheese, milk, bacon and onion. Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles. Press perforations to seal. Spread 1 ½ Tablespoons cheese mixture onto each rectangle. Starting at long side, roll up and press to seal. Cut each roll into 8 pieces. Place pieces cut side down on an ungreased cookie sheet. Lightly sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
