Simple Frosting

This is indeed a very basic frosting.

It tastes a bit of the frosting on top of cinnamon rolls.

The butter gives the frosting a nice richness.

It is very sweet. It’s frosting, so I guess that is to be expected.

It is also a very thin frosting, more of a glaze in my opinion.

So if you are looking for something simple, quick and easy - this is the way to go.

BASIC BUTTER FROSTING

1/4 Cup Butter

2 Cups Sifted Confectioners’ Sugar

1/8 Teaspoon Salt

3 Tablespoons Milk

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Cream butter until fluffy. Gradually work in 1 cup sugar. Add salt, milk and vanilla. Work in remainder of the sugar.
