Strange But Not Horrible

Over the years I have come to think of myself as a very good cook. I’m not trying to brag, but I do know my way around the kitchen.

My husband agrees with me, because he is a smart man! In all honestly, he does brag to his friends about my cooking, so there’s that.

Soon after we were first married, he told me - “I thought my mother was a really good cook growing up, I think I was wrong!”

I say all this because of what my husband said of this dish after I served it. He said, “Wow, this reminds me of something my mom used to make.”

I can not dispute this. It really does seem like something his mother would make.

The dish is not as bad as I thought it would be. It is edible. I just wouldn’t go out of my way to eat it again.

The tuna is strange in the tomato sauce.

TUNA SPAGHETTI BAKE

1 Quart Tomato Sauce

1 Cup Water

1 Bouillon Cube Chicken or Beef

8 Ounces Spaghetti

14 Ounces Tuna

2 Slices Sharp Cheese

Heat tomato sauce and water with the bouillon cube. Cook spaghetti until al dente. Add spaghetti to sauce. Add tuna and toss to coat. Place in a greased casserole dish. Top with cheese. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10 minutes, covered. Uncover and cook an additional 10 minutes.
