Strange Green Drink

We have some family in from out of town. They had a long day of travel and were interested in a cocktail to unwind with.

I am not sure I picked the right drink with this one.

A Tom Collins is a drink I enjoy. We have made them in the past.

The biggest difference with the Creme de Menthe. It has a vibrant green color. So that certainly adds a little something to the drink in the appearance.

Unfortunately it also adds a very strong artificial almost, mint flavor.

I am not sure how enjoyable it was. It was drinkable - but barely.

MINT COLLINS

1 Jigger Gin

1 Jigger Lemon Juice

1 Jigger Green Creme De Menthe

1/4 Teaspoon Sugar

1/2 Cup Cracked Ice

Seltzer Water

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Whirl until well blender. Strain into glasses. Add ice. Fill with seltzer.
