Strange Ham Loaf

Why would you take a perfectly good ham and grind it up?

ree

Well, I made this recipe and I an still unsure why!

ree

I used my Kitchen Aid attachment to grind up the ham. This was a fairly easy process.

ree

Mixing the ham with the loaf ingredients is easy. The ham doesn’t exactly form well or stick together nicely.

The apples are nice. I’m trying to be positive here.

The dish does not turn out easily. It sticks a bit. Maybe if my pan was smaller it would come out easier, but it was just awkward.

ree

It tasted strange. It had the consistency of a hash, but softer. Perhaps it would taste better if you could pan fry it a bit.

ree

It wasn’t bad, it was just strange.
