Tons Of Good Flavor

I used two different recipes for the burger for my barbecue. This one, and the Party Burgers you will hear about tomorrow.

I was concerned that people who don’t like horseradish would not like these.

This was by far the more successful recipe. Both in cooking and in the amount eaten.

For the cooking part, the bread crumbs helped the burgers hold together during grilling. I hate when the burger falls apart into the grill. These did not do that!

The horseradish, mustard and Worcestershire gave the burgers a ton of flavor. There was a small amount of punch from the horseradish, but it was far from overwhelming.

The burgers cooked nicely on the grill. You could also broil them, or just cook them in a pan.

These were a great addition to the barbecue!
SAVORY BURGERS

1/3 Cup Chopped Onion
1/2 Cup Dry Bread Crumbs

1/4 Cup Evaporated Milk
2 Tablespoons Horseradish
1 Teaspoon Prepared Mustard
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Monosodium Glutamate
Mix all ingredients together and form into 6 patties. Fry in a skillet for 5 minutes per side. Serve on buttered buns.
