Upgrade Your Salad

I know I have said this before, but homemade salad dressing is so much tastier than store bought!

This dressing is no exception!

It has an interesting blend of ingredients. Each one provides its own unique flavor profile.

It is a little zesty, but not at all spicy.

You will have to continually shake it if it is sitting out for a while. Thankfully since there is no dairy you don’t have to worry about it sitting on the table during your party.

This recipe made plenty to serve salad to 15 people and I still had some left over!



ZESTY SALAD DRESSING

1 Cup Oil

1/3 Cup Vinegar

2 Tablespoons Sugar

1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt

1/2 Teaspoon Paprika

1/2 Teaspoon Dry Mustard

2 Tablespoons Ketchup

1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

1 Teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 Clove Garlic


Beat together with fork or whisk the oil, vinegar, salt, paprika, dry mustard, ketchup, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Pour into a jar. Add garlic. Cover and chill several hours. Remove garlic and blend before serving.
